Florida Highway Patrol Investigates Fatal Crash on Florida Turnpike
Kissimmee, FL – On June 14, 2025, at 9:08 PM, a fatal incident occurred on the Florida Turnpike at Mile Marker 251 near SR-417. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
A 2021 Toyota Highlander, driver, 36, from Kissimmee, FL, was traveling southbound in the inside lane. Following behind was a 2016 Chevy Silverado, driven by a male, 30, from Key Largo, FL.
A male pedestrian, 30, from Hollywood, FL, entered the southbound lanes from the woodline, directly in the path of both vehicles. Both Vehicle 1 and Vehicle 2 struck the pedestrian, who was pronounced deceased at the scene. The drivers of both vehicles sustained no injuries and remained at the scene.
