
Orange County, FL — Early this morning, Thursday, June 19, 2025, at approximately 9:00 AM, a collision occurred on State Road 482 (Sand Lake Road) in Orange County, Florida, west of Sand Lake Pointe Loop.
A 2024 Dodge RAM 3500, hauling a trailer and driven by a 43-year-old male from Albuquerque, NM, was traveling eastbound in the left turn lane. A 2011 Suzuki GSX-R600 motorcycle, driven by a 26-year-old male from Orlando, FL, was traveling westbound in the center lane, east of Sand Lake Pointe Loop.
The driver of the Dodge RAM 3500 made a U-turn to travel west on Sand Lake Road, failing to yield to the Suzuki GSX-R600. As a result, the front of the Suzuki GSX-R600 collided with the right side of the Dodge RAM 3500’s trailer. The impact occurred directly in the path of the oncoming motorcycle.
The driver of the Dodge RAM 3500 remained on-scene and was not transported. The rider of the Suzuki GSX-R600 was pronounced deceased on-scene. The crash remains under investigation by local authorities. Nothing further at this time.
