In a story reported by WFTS, the City of Largo and Largo Fire Rescue confirmed on June 25, 2025, that firefighter Brandon Stoffel’s employment has been terminated following an internal investigation regarding his behavior at a “No Kings” rally on June 14, 2025.
Officials stated Stoffel’s actions were inconsistent with the community’s expected standards and trust. Social media photos allegedly depicted Stoffel at multiple rallies, and a video shared with WFTS showed him using a slur against the LGBTQ+ community.
