Kissimmee Police Lieutenant Arrested

KISSIMMEE, FL— Kissimmee Police Department Lieutenant Lacey Santone was arrested on March 5, 2026, and charged with two computer-related crimes following a criminal investigation by the department.

The investigation began on December 12, 2025, after an officer provided additional information related to a previously closed Internal Affairs investigation.

The probe determined that Santone accessed the department’s internal camera system multiple times, both on duty and off duty, for personal reasons. While viewing the security footage, she recorded it using her personal cell phone and shared the recordings with two other officers who did not have authorized access to the secured system.

The Kissimmee Police Department collaborated with the State Attorney’s Office, which determined probable cause existed. An arrest warrant was issued, and Santone voluntarily surrendered before being booked into the Osceola County Jail.

“The actions of the officer who came forward and those who cooperated in the investigation demonstrated our department’s core values and underscore the integrity and professionalism we expect, including holding each other accountable to maintain public trust,” said Chief Charles Broadway.

Santone has been relieved of her duties and placed on administrative leave without pay pending the outcome of the criminal case and an administrative investigation.
