The Lakeland Chamber of Commerce has named Jet’s Pizza South Lakeland as its Small Business of the Month for February 2026.
Jet’s Pizza South Lakeland is recognized for its commitment to quality food, community engagement, and meaningful local impact. The business specializes in signature Detroit-style deep dish pizza, including gluten-free options, along with salads and wings. It offers carryout and delivery services, built on fresh dough, fresh vegetables, and a signature sauce, with an emphasis on quality and consistency. The location remains family-owned and operated, with general managers leading day-to-day operations to ensure product quality.
Owner/Operator Trevor Dubey stated that the recognition makes him feel great, as it shows the community notices the business’s impact on various organizations, particularly those supporting youth. The business actively supports local schools through fundraisers such as spirit nights and multicultural nights, and serves as a dedicated supporter of the Lakeland police and fire departments, as well as the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce.
As an active member of the Lakeland Chamber, Jet’s Pizza has built lasting relationships with community leaders and participated in events including the Chamber’s Annual Luau and Biz Bash, contributing to the company’s growth over the past decade.
Founded in 1978, the Jet’s Pizza brand continues to expand, with plans underway for a new location in Champions Gate. Trevor Dubey highlighted that one of his favorite aspects of the business is developing opportunities for people in the community, reflecting the company’s people-first philosophy.
