Haines City Swears In Isaac Jackson as New Police Chief

HAINES CITY, FL — Isaac Jackson was sworn in as Chief of Police for the Haines City Police Department on March 6, 2026, by Public Safety Director Joe Halman Jr.

Chief Jackson brings over 21 years of law enforcement experience, including 19 years with the Haines City Police Department. He has progressed through the ranks—officer, corporal, sergeant, lieutenant, deputy chief, and interim chief—and served in Patrol, Criminal Investigations, COPS Unit, Crime Suppression Team, and as Training Coordinator.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Saint Leo University and a Bachelor’s from Bethune-Cookman College, along with completion of prestigious programs such as the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy, Certified Public Manager, and Bulletproof Leadership.

“I am honored to lead the Haines City Police Department and remain committed to moving our agency forward,” Chief Jackson said. “By embracing emerging technology, prioritizing transparency, and strengthening partnerships with our community, we will continue to enhance public safety and organizational excellence.”

Public Safety Director Joe Halman Jr. added, “After two decades of dedicated service to the City of Haines City, Chief Jackson has proven to be a leader of character, courage, and vision. We are confident that under his leadership, the Haines City Police Department will continue to strengthen community partnerships, uphold the highest standards of law enforcement, and ensure the safety and wellbeing of our residents.”
