LAKELAND, FL – Florida Polytechnic University has entered into a formal research partnership with ITS Korea, the Intelligent Transport Society of Korea, to collaborate on intelligent transportation systems (ITS) and related technologies.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Devin Stephenson, president of Florida Polytechnic University, and Cheong-Hoe Heo, chairman and president of ITS Korea. The partnership aims to foster mutual economic growth through joint initiatives in research, education, and technology development.
Under the collaboration, the institutions will leverage shared resources, expertise, and specialized facilities to pursue advanced academic programs, joint research projects, and opportunities for cross-border internships and training.
Key elements of the partnership include the exchange of knowledge through workshops, seminars, and conferences, as well as efforts to develop and commercialize new technologies resulting from their joint work.
