St. Petersburg, FL – August 6, 2025, – The St. Petersburg Police have arrested William Michael Copher, 49, of Palmetto, Florida, on four counts of stalking and four counts of voyeurism involving five female victims.
Copher traveled approximately 20 miles from his home in Palmetto to St. Petersburg, where he allegedly stood outside victims’ bedroom windows and peered inside.
In at least two incidents, he was observed masturbating. Additionally, Copher delivered a package of sex toys to one victim and left notes.
The investigation began following a complaint received on June 30, 2025. Over several weeks, detectives linked multiple incidents and gathered tips that identified Copher as the suspect.
Authorities believe there may be additional victims and are continuing their investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact the St. Petersburg Police Department.
