Ormond Beach, FL – At approximately 1:42 P.M. on June 30, 2025, a fatal crash occurred in the northbound lanes of Interstate 95, south of U.S. Highway 1 at mile marker 72 in Ormond Beach, Volusia County. Florida Highway Patrol troopers are on-scene investigating.
The crash involved two vehicles: a Honda CR-V and a box truck. The adult male driver of the Honda CR-V was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The adult female passenger in the Honda CR-V was pronounced deceased at the scene. The adult male driver of the box truck was not transported and remained at the scene.
The center and outside northbound lanes of I-95 are currently blocked due to the crash. The investigation is ongoing, and a media release will be provided when additional information is available.
