TAMPA, Fla. (April 9, 2025) – Officers responded to the scene at 11:49pm on April 9, 2025, locating a deceased adult male. Lifesaving measures were performed; however, the male succumbed to his injuries.
The exit for Spruce Street and I275 is blocked and is currently closed as a result and is expected to remain closed until the investigation is completed. An update will be presented when the traffic pattern is open. Drivers are asked to use the following alternate routes to allow for the investigation. The only exits out of Tampa International Airport at this time are to the North Veterans Expressway exit, Highway 60 exit or the Obrien Street exit onto Spruce Street. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
