Hernando County, FL – On July 18, 2025, at approximately 2:48 AM, a crash occurred on Deltona Boulevard involving two motorcycles. A Harley Davidson motorcycle, operated by a 55-year-old male from Weeki Wachee, was traveling northbound. A Yamaha motorcycle, operated by a 36-year-old male from Brooksville, was traveling northbound adjacent to the Harley Davidson.
Approaching Miracle Drive, both operators failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. The motorcycles departed the roadway and collided with a stop sign and a mailbox. The operator of the Harley Davidson sustained fatal injuries at the scene. The operator of the Yamaha sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The Florida Highway Patrol is continuing its investigation into the crash. No further details are available at this time.
