On June 29, 2025, at approximately 11:36 AM EDT, a 57-year-old man from Holiday, driving a Nissan Pathfinder, suffered a medical emergency while traveling westbound on Garfield Drive. The driver lost control of the vehicle, which veered across the roadway, striking several trash cans.
The Pathfinder then collided with an unoccupied, parked Honda Civic at 3452 Garfield Drive. The vehicle continued, striking a tree and a concrete porch post at 3444 Garfield Drive before coming to a stop.
The driver was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. No other injuries were reported. Authorities are investigating the incident.
