Davenport Man Arrested for DUI Manslaughter After Fatal Poinciana Parkway Crash That Killed Teen

Osceola County, FL – On Thursday, November 27, 2025, at approximately 11:41 p.m., a 44-year-old Davenport man, Eddy Edmond, was arrested for DUI manslaughter after causing a fatal three-vehicle crash on State Road 538 (Poinciana Parkway) at Sienna Boulevard.

Edmond, driving a 2004 Acura MDX westbound, struck the rear of a stopped 2025 Hyundai Tucson. The impact caused the Tucson to overturn and collide with a stopped 2015 Ford F-150 ahead of it.

An 18-year-old female passenger from Stockbridge, Georgia, in the Hyundai Tucson was pronounced deceased at Osceola Regional Medical Center.

Edmond sustained minor injuries and was not wearing a seatbelt. He was booked into the Osceola County Jail.

The Hyundai Tucson driver, a 34-year-old female from Kissimmee, and five additional passengers sustained serious injuries and were transported to area hospitals.

The driver of the Ford F-150, a 40-year-old male from Apopka, was uninjured.

The crash remains under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol. Nothing further at this time.
