Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy Arrested for Allegedly Forcing Victim to Expose Breasts

Green Cove Spings, FL – On June 18, 2025, a female victim contacted the Clay County Sheriff’s Office to report a theft. Two deputies were dispatched to her residence in Orange Park. Deputy Ryan Perry followed the victim upstairs to her bedroom while the second deputy remained downstairs gathering witness information. Perry allegedly demanded the victim expose her breasts and inappropriately touched her, constituting sexual battery.

The Sheriff’s Office was notified of the allegation on June 21. Detectives conducted an investigation, including multiple interviews, and gathered evidence leading to Perry’s arrest on June 27, 2025, for armed sexual battery. Perry’s employment with the Sheriff’s Office, which began in October 2018, was terminated at the time of his arrest. The office had previously investigated two citizen complaints against Perry, with one sustained and one unfounded.
