LAKELAND, FL – February 27, 2026 – Atala Counseling, a local mental health practice dedicated to serving the Lakeland community, has announced an innovative new partnership with celebrated local artist Josh “Bump” Galletta. Together, they are launching a unique Lakeland-inspired mental health coloring book that blends community pride with practical tools for emotional well-being.
The coloring book showcases detailed illustrations of cherished Lakeland landmarks, scenic parks, and beloved small businesses—capturing the essence of what makes the city feel like home. These familiar scenes are paired with interactive activity pages designed for all ages, from children to adults.
By merging Bump Galletta’s artistic talent with Atala Counseling’s expertise in mental health, the book incorporates evidence-informed coping strategies. Readers can engage in creative exercises that foster resilience, emotional awareness, and stress reduction in a fun, approachable way. The goal is to make mental health support feel integrated into everyday life rather than separate or clinical.
“This partnership reflects Atala Counseling’s ongoing commitment to its vision: ‘To dismantle barriers for a healthier Lakeland, one connection at a time,'” the announcement states. The project seeks to normalize conversations about mental health while rooting them in the community’s shared identity.
Araceli Gauna-Scattolini, owner and therapist at Atala Counseling, emphasized the initiative’s purpose: “We believe mental health care should feel accessible and integrated into everyday life. Partnering with Bump allows us to celebrate Lakeland’s unique character while providing families, individuals, and children with realistic tools to strengthen their emotional well-being.”
Josh “Bump” Galletta is a well-known Lakeland-based commercial artist and illustrator, frequently recognized in local “Best of” awards for his visual work.
The coloring book is now available for purchase at the Atala Counseling office (905 South Missouri Ave Lakeland, FL 33803). This creative collaboration highlights how local art and mental wellness can come together to build a stronger, more connected community.
