HAINES CITY, FL AdventHealth has opened new side-by-side locations for AdventHealth Centra Care and AdventHealth Primary Care+ on U.S. 27 in Haines City, providing families in Northeast Polk County with easier access to everyday health care seven days a week.
AdventHealth Centra Care offers walk-in urgent care for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, such as sprains, infections, and fevers.
AdventHealth Primary Care+ provides same-day, evening, and weekend appointments with doctors or advanced practice providers, plus virtual visit options, for flexible ongoing primary care.
The facilities are located at 35716 US Highway 27 N (Centra Care), with Primary Care+ next door, just four miles from AdventHealth Heart of Florida.
Both sites operate seven days a week and are fully integrated with AdventHealth Heart of Florida, enabling shared electronic health records, seamless referrals, and coordinated follow-up care.
Officials note that these options help address Polk County’s population growth of over 20% in the past decade, offering timely, affordable care for minor concerns while reserving emergency rooms for true emergencies, resulting in shorter wait times and lower costs for patients.
