Tampa Police Department Press Release:
TAMPA, FL. (March 27, 2025)- Tampa Police officers are currently responding to a deadly vehicle versus bicycle crash.
Shortly before 7:00 am, officers were called to 50th street for the report of a crash involving a vehicle hitting a bicyclist. The individual on the bicycle was pronounced deceased. The driver, an adult woman, remained on scene. The circumstances regarding the crash remain under investigation.
Southbound lanes of 50th Street from Melburne Blvd to I-4 are closed to allow for the investigation. Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes.
