On July 12, 2025, at 12:04 PM, a fatal crash occurred in Brevard County on US-1 north of Barefoot Blvd. A 2001 Harley Davidson XL 1200, traveling northbound in the outside lane, veered off the roadway and struck a guardrail for unknown reasons.
The rider, a 71-year-old male from Sebastian, Florida, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
The Florida Highway Patrol has not released additional details regarding the circumstances leading to the motorcycle’s departure from the roadway. No other vehicles were involved in the incident. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are seeking information from the public to assist in determining the cause of the crash.
