Lady Lake, FL – A Florida man faces legal trouble after allegedly urinating on food items at a Sam’s Club, resulting in over $10,000 in damages. The incident occurred on May 30, 2025, at the Lady Lake store, according to an arrest affidavit.
A shopper spotted the suspect, identified as Patrick Francis Mitchell, relieving himself in Aisle 18, where canned goods like Vienna sausages and Spam are stocked. She photographed him and alerted store staff. Surveillance footage showed Mitchell standing near two pallets of food, appearing to urinate, before lingering in the store and leaving after paying for other items.

Store managers confirmed that 188 units of Vienna sausages and 345 units of Spam, valued at $10,584.84, were contaminated and discarded. Using Mitchell’s membership details, managers provided his name and address to authorities.
Mitchell was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief. He was booked into Marino County Jail, released on a $3,000 bond, and pleaded not guilty on June 10. His next court date is set for June 30. Nothing further at this time.
