TAMPA, Fla. — The Tampa Police Department, in partnership with the FBI, is investigating a bank robbery that occurred on the 4000 block of W. Neptune St. around 9:20 a.m. this morning.
A male suspect entered the bank wearing multiple layers of clothing, a dark-colored hoodie, jeans, gloves, with a white bandana and sunglasses covering his face.
The suspect approached the teller implying he was armed though no weapon was seen. He demanded money and fled the scene with cash.
The suspect was last seen leaving the area on an e-bike, possibly heading northbound.
