Tampa, FL — The Tampa Police Department conducted a death investigation following a fatal incident where a CSX locomotive struck and killed an adult male on the 300 block of W Busch Blvd on June 7, 2025, at approximately 10:45 p.m. Officers responded to reports of a deceased individual and confirmed the victim was hit by a westbound train traveling from N Florida Ave.
The investigation continued into the night, with northbound and southbound lanes at the intersection of N Florida Ave and W Busch Blvd closed for several hours.
