St Petersburg Police Department Media Release:
Tonight (Sunday) at 8 PM, a Hyundai sedan and a Nissan SUV were both southbound on 34th St. near 17th Avenue North when they crashed.
The male driver of the Hyundai sedan is in critical but stable condition and his female passenger died at the scene.The driver of the Nissan SUV sustained serious injuries.The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
All lanes of 34th St. near 17th Ave. N. will remain closed for several hours for the investigation.
