BRADLEY JUNCTION, FL — A head-on collision involving three vehicles Friday night in Bradley Junction claimed the life of a 69-year-old Mulberry woman, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash occurred around 8:41 p.m. on October 30, 2026, along State Road 37 at Main Avenue.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the woman was driving a silver 2018 Chrysler 300 northbound on State Road 37 when, for unknown reasons, her vehicle crossed the center line and collided with the driver’s side wheels of a southbound 2007 Kenworth semi-truck.

The impact caused the Chrysler 300 to lose control before striking a southbound black 2013 Chrysler 200 head-on.

When deputies and Polk County Fire Rescue arrived, they found the 69-year-old woman suffering from life-threatening injuries. She was transported to a local hospital, where she died shortly after arrival.

The semi-truck was driven by a 35-year-old man from Wimauma, who was treated at the scene. The Chrysler 200 was driven by a 25-year-old man from Northborough, Massachusetts, who was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

State Road 37 remained closed for approximately three hours while authorities investigated the crash.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision. Nothing further at this time.
