KISSIMMEE, FL — A motorcyclist was killed Saturday morning after crashing along Bill Beck Boulevard in Kissimmee, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash occurred at approximately 8:24 a.m. on July 18 near the intersection of Bill Beck Boulevard and Line Drive. The rider of a 2001 Suzuki Katana 750 was traveling southbound on Bill Beck Boulevard when he failed to negotiate a curve and traveled off the left side of the roadway. The motorcycle struck a curb before crashing into a utility pole.
The adult male rider was transported to Osceola Regional Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.
His identity has not yet been released pending confirmation by the Medical Examiner’s Office and notification of his family. The crash remains under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
