LAKELAND, FL — Watson Clinic officially celebrated the grand opening of its new Watson Clinic Parkway Medical Center this week with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, welcoming guests to tour the facility and learn about the services offered at the new location.
Located at 4060 Lakeland Highlands Road, Lakeland, FL 33812, the new Watson Clinic Parkway Medical Center is a four-story, 80,000-square-foot facility designed to provide a wide range of healthcare services under one roof. Specialties housed at the center include Radiology, Pediatrics, General Surgery, Podiatric Surgery, Hand Surgery, Urology, Orthopaedic Surgery, OB-GYN, and Cardiology. The facility also features a full-service laboratory, offering patients convenient access to comprehensive medical care in one location.
During the grand opening event, attendees enjoyed refreshments, giveaways, and guided tours of the new medical center.
The Parkway Medical Center is part of a larger healthcare campus in south Lakeland that also includes the Watson Clinic Surgery Center South, an outpatient facility for same-day surgical procedures, and the Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital, a more than 300-bed inpatient hospital staffed by Watson Clinic physicians and providers.
Clinic officials say the new facility expands access to specialty medical care while strengthening healthcare services available to residents throughout Polk County.
