DUI Suspect Found With 34 Open Containers During Traffic Stop: FHP

PASCO COUNTY, FL — A 33-year-old San Antonio man was arrested on DUI charges Friday night after a Florida Highway Patrol trooper stopped him for speeding on Interstate 75 in Pasco County.

The traffic stop occurred at approximately 10:46 p.m. on June 12 near the 280-mile marker on northbound I-75. An FHP trooper observed a Honda Civic traveling at more than 90 mph before initiating a traffic stop.

During the stop, the trooper determined the driver, identified as Conor William Parady, was heavily intoxicated. Troopers also discovered 34 open containers inside the vehicle.

Parady was arrested and transported to the Pasco County Jail. According to FHP, he provided a breath alcohol content (BAC) reading of 0.177, which is more than twice Florida’s legal limit of 0.08.

No crashes or injuries were reported in connection with the incident. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating.
