Fatal Pedestrian Crash Involving Utility Trailer Under Investigation

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL. — A fatal traffic crash involving a pedestrian occurred on June 4, 2026, at approximately 10:15 a.m. near the intersection of Bellewood Avenue North and 136th Street North.

A Toyota Tundra towing an enclosed utility trailer, operated by a 57-year-old Seminole man, was backing westbound on Bellewood Avenue North. As the vehicle approached 136th Street North, the trailer struck a pedestrian who was walking eastbound along the edge of the roadway.

The pedestrian, an 85-year-old Seminole woman, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The investigation remains ongoing.
