TAMPA, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a double stabbing that occurred early Wednesday morning in Tampa.
On June 3, 2026, at approximately 4:26 a.m., the HCSO 911 Dispatch Center received a call from a man reporting that he and another individual had been stabbed at an apartment complex on North 46th Street.
Both victims were transported for medical treatment and are currently reported to be in stable condition.

Investigators have identified and accounted for all individuals involved in the incident.
The Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the suspect and one of the victims are students at the University of South Florida.
The investigation remains active. Any additional information or updates will be released through the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Public Affairs Office.
UPDATE: JUNE 4, 2026, AT 3:30 P.M.
The individual found deceased at 3600 East Fletcher Avenue in Tampa has been identified as Hansel Pearson, 21.
Pearson and one of the stabbed victims were roommates at an apartment complex on North 46th Street.
