Man Killed After Losing Control of Motorized Scooter in Kissimmee

KISSIMMEE, FL – A 56-year-old Kissimmee man was killed following a crash involving a motorized scooter in Osceola County on Saturday, April 25, 2026.

According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred at approximately 12:57 p.m. near Boggy Creek Road and Fells Cove Boulevard. The man was operating a four-wheel electric all-terrain scooter eastbound on Boggy Creek Road, west of Fells Cove Boulevard, within an inactive construction lane.

For unknown reasons, the rider lost control of the scooter and fell from the vehicle.

The man was transported to UCF Lake Nona Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. Next of kin has been notified. The crash remains under investigation. Nothing further at this time.
