KISSIMMEE, FL – April 5, 2026 — Deputies with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported drowning just before 5:00 p.m. at the 2000 block of Semicolon Avenue in Kissimmee.
According to OCSO, a 4-year-old boy was found unresponsive in a community pool. Bystanders removed the child from the water and performed CPR until emergency responders arrived.
The child was transported to Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Officials said the boy was visiting with his family from Georgia. Preliminary information indicates the child became separated from his family prior to the incident.
Detectives with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death. Nothing further at this time.
