Latinas Profesionales in Action to Host 2nd Annual Women’s Wellness Experience in Lakeland

LAKELAND, FL— Latinas Profesionales in Action (LPA) will host its 2nd Annual Women’s Wellness Experience on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Depot Arts District by Lakeland Arts Association in Lakeland. The event is free and open to the public.

The Women’s Wellness Experience is designed as a welcoming space for women of all backgrounds, with a focus on mental health, mindfulness, and connection. The event will feature a full day of programming aimed at supporting emotional well-being, encouraging self-care, and fostering community.

Scheduled activities include mindful movement sessions such as yoga and pilates, guest speakers, creative wellness activities, a mini sound bath meditation, local wellness vendors, and community resources. Attendees may participate at their own pace, attending individual sessions or the full event.

According to organizers, the experience was created to provide women with a space to pause, reflect, and feel supported. LPA leaders say the event is intended to offer accessible and intentional opportunities for women to prioritize their well-being.

The 2026 event will feature two main speakers: Araceli Gauna-Scattolini, a licensed mental health therapist with Atala Counseling, and Dr. Maresa Lugo, a neurologist and founder of NeuroCare Center. Their sessions will address emotional well-being, stress, and neurological changes during midlife, including perimenopause and menopause, while providing practical tools for overall wellness.

In addition to programming, the event will include a curated lineup of local wellness, food, creative, and community vendors.

Organizers say the event is made possible through community sponsors, including Venue Salon, Central Florida Health Care, and Crosby & Associates, helping keep the event free and accessible.

Early RSVPs will be eligible for limited swag bags and giveaways while supplies last.

For updates, sponsorship opportunities, or to RSVP, the public is encouraged to follow Latinas Profesionales in Action on social media or contact the organization directly.
