BARTOW, FL – Construction has begun on a new Culver’s restaurant at 1395 N. Holland Parkway, with land clearing and site work progressing following the ceremonial groundbreaking.
The project, located on a 3.17-acre site, will feature a 4,739-square-foot building.
The groundbreaking ceremony occurred on Tuesday, February 17, at 10:00 a.m.
Nearly 40 attendees participated, including community members, city officials, and representatives from the Bartow Economic Development Agency (BEDC) and Bartow Chamber of Commerce.
BEDC Executive Director Elle Whithall noted the strong community support, stating that it was evident “in every handshake and every smile.”
She added a special thank-you to the City Commissioners and BEDC Board for their leadership and support of Bartow business, describing the project as “another exciting step forward” and emphasizing that “we’re just getting started.”
The development is expected to create new jobs and bring economic investment to the community, including opportunities tied to the popular ButterBurgers and frozen custard offerings.
