KISSIMMEE, FL— Sheriff Christopher Blackmon briefed media today, January 18, 2026, regarding the shooting incident that occurred yesterday.
At 12:14 p.m., the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office received multiple 911 calls reporting shots fired. Deputies arrived on scene at 12:19 p.m. and observed the suspect fleeing toward 298 Indian Point Drive, his residence.
Following the issuance and service of a warrant on the suspect’s residence, two firearms were recovered. Confirmation is pending on whether these weapons were used in the incident.
The victims have been identified as:
- Robert Luis Kraft, born January 7, 1956, of Holland, Michigan.
- Douglas Joseph Kraft, born December 3, 1957, of Columbus, Ohio.
Next of kin notifications for the brothers have been completed.
The third victim is a 68-year-old male friend from Ohio. His name will be released upon completion of next of kin notification.
The suspect appeared in court for his first appearance and was denied bond. The investigation remains active. Nothing further at this time.
