Lakeland, FL – On Saturday, October 18, 2025, at approximately 9:30 p.m., the Polk County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle crash on Reynolds Road at the intersection with Flat Road in Lakeland.
A 2019 Jeep Wrangler, driven by a 26-year-old Lakeland man, veered off the roadway to the west while traveling north, struck guide wires attached to a utility pole, and overturned on the shoulder, according to the PCSO. The driver, the sole occupant of the vehicle, sustained fatal injuries at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
