Brevard County, FL. – A six-vehicle collision at the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Eber Boulevard in Brevard County resulted in one fatality and multiple injuries on Thursday, October 3, 2025, at approximately 6:42 p.m.
The crash involved a 2017 box truck traveling southbound on Hollywood Boulevard, a 2021 Porsche Taycan traveling eastbound on Eber Boulevard, a 2022 Mazda 3, a 2016 Honda Odyssey, a 2019 Ford Escape, and a 2011 Toyota Camry. The Mazda 3 and Ford Escape were stopped in the northbound left-turn lane on Hollywood Boulevard, while the Honda Odyssey and Toyota Camry were stopped in the northbound straight-through lane.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the box truck entered the intersection against a red light and collided with the left side of the Porsche Taycan. The impact caused the box truck to overturn onto its left side and continue southeast, where it struck a raised concrete curb and came to rest in a grassy ditch. Debris from the overturning truck struck the windshield of the Toyota Camry.
The Porsche Taycan was pushed into the Mazda 3 and Honda Odyssey while rotating clockwise. Its front struck the front of the Mazda 3, followed by its front left striking the front left of the Honda Odyssey. The front of the Porsche then struck the front of the Ford Escape. The Mazda 3 was pushed southwest, resulting in its right side striking the front left of the Ford Escape.
The 67-year-old female driver of the Porsche Taycan, from Melbourne Beach, was transported to Holmes Regional Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased. Next of kin has been notified. She was wearing a seatbelt.

The 26-year-old male driver of the box truck, from Melbourne, sustained serious injuries and was admitted to a hospital. He was wearing a seatbelt. Investigators determined that the box truck driver was fleeing the scene of a prior hit-and-run crash under investigation by the West Melbourne Police Department. Charges are pending.
The driver and a passenger in the Mazda 3 sustained minor injuries. Both were wearing seatbelts. No injuries were reported among the occupants of the Honda Odyssey, Ford Escape, or Toyota Camry. All occupants in those vehicles were wearing seatbelts.
The incident remains under active criminal investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
