Juan Diaz denied the allegations during questioning but was arrested on two counts of felony aggravated battery. He is held without bond at the Hernando County Detention Center.

Miguel Diaz, Eliseo Hernandez-Diaz, and Sergio Flores, 50, a bystander, are detained at the Hernando County Detention Center at the request of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) due to their illegal presence in the country.
