Osceola County, FL — On September 7, 2025, at approximately 9:36 a.m., a fatal crash occurred on W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway east of Four Winds Blvd, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP). The incident involved a 2024 Zhilong Angel moped operated by a 44-year-old man from Davenport, Florida.
The moped was traveling eastbound in the outside lane when the rider attempted to change to the inside lane. During this maneuver, the rider lost control, resulting in a fatal crash. The rider, who was not wearing a helmet, was transported to Osceola Regional Hospital, and pronounced deceased.
The next of kin has not yet been notified. The Florida Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the crash.
