Largo Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit (CAC) have arrested a Pinellas County Schools bus driver for possession of child pornography.
Detectives began their investigation after receiving information that child pornography was being accessed and shared via the internet. Through various investigative techniques, detectives identified the suspect as 35-year-old Donte Burney.
According to detectives, the images were of children between the ages of one and eleven years old.
On September 5, 2025, Burney was arrested and charged with 20 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
Burney was transported to the Pinellas County Jail. The investigation continues.
