
Altamonte Springs Fire Claims Nine Dogs in Shed Fire
Altamonte Springs, FL — A fire broke out at 2:59 AM this morning at 2610 Ohio Ave, claiming the lives of nine dogs, the Altamonte Springs Fire Department confirmed. The blaze, which engulfed two sheds between residential properties, was contained before it could spread to nearby homes.
Firefighters responded quickly to multiple emergency calls and arrived to find the sheds fully engulfed in flames. Despite their efforts, one of the sheds, which housed multiple dogs, resulted in the tragic loss of all nine animals. No civilian or firefighter injuries were reported, and the adjacent residences sustained no damage.

A fire investigator remains on the scene to further examine the circumstances surrounding the incident. Nothing further at this time.
