Lakeland, FL – On Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 9:54 p.m., a fatal two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle occurred on County Line Road.
A 19-year-old male operating a green and black Suzuki motorcycle, identified as Blue Scott, was traveling northbound in the inside left lane. A black Nissan Altima was exiting the driveway of the O’Reilly Auto Parts Warehouse parking lot and crossed westbound across the northbound lanes.
Scott attempted to avoid the Altima by moving into the left lane, but the Altima entered the median and the path of the motorcycle, resulting in a collision.
Both vehicles sustained significant damage. Scott was ejected from the motorcycle, which came to final rest in the southbound lanes of County Line Road. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A helmet was located at the scene but was not strapped or near Scott, according to PCSO. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating. Nothing further at this time.
