Authorities are investigating a stabbing that occurred this morning on Lucerne Loop.
According to the Winter Haven Police Department, officers received a call reporting a disturbance at approximately 10:55 a.m. The situation escalated, and upon arrival, officers located one victim suffering from a stab wound.
Immediate medical aid was provided to the victim until EMS arrived. The victim is currently being transported to a hospital for treatment.
The scene has been secured and closed off by officers, who are speaking with individuals present at the property. Police have described the incident as isolated, stating there is no ongoing danger to the public at this time.
