Winter Haven, FL — A Winter Haven man is lucky to be alive after a terrible single-vehicle crash this morning on Havendale Boulevard at 16th Street. At approximately 9:00 a.m., Winter Haven Police and Fire Departments responded to the incident involving a 1968 Pontiac GTO.

Witnesses reported the driver was weaving in and out of traffic and speeding before approaching a curve, where he lost control of the vehicle. The car veered off the roadway, resulting in a severe crash.
