On June 21, 2025, Winter Haven Police Department officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle. The victim stated that around 8 p.m., he and a female friend picked up 29-year-old Kelvin Smith (DOB 8/28/1995) at the female friend’s request. The victim allowed Smith to drive the vehicle to his residence due to uncertainty about the location.
