According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a deadly single vehicle crash occurred in Lake County at approximately 3:16 a.m. on SR-19 near Saint Florian Lane.
A 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee veered off the roadway after failing to navigate a left-hand curve, striking a pole and overturning multiple times. Three passengers were ejected from the vehicle.
The driver and one passenger were pronounced dead at the scene, while two others were rushed to Orlando Regional Medical Center. One of the transported passengers later succumbed to their injuries, and the remaining survivor remains in critical condition. It’s unclear whether anyone was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
