The friend last saw Torneo on Thursday, December 11, 2025, and had not heard from him since. The friend, who had a key to the home, went to check on him. Locks had recently been changed because a former roommate was no longer permitted to reside there. Torneo’s vehicle was missing from the property.

The former roommate was identified as Trevino.

Investigators determined that Torneo’s bank card was used by Trevino at a nearby pizza restaurant and convenience store.
