WINTER HAVEN, FL – A scary situation unfolded earlier today at Santiago’s Market in Winter Haven when a disturbance escalated into a violent confrontation. Authorities issued a Be On the Lookout (BOLO) alert for a heavy-set Black male wearing a white shirt and black shorts, driving a red Nissan Altima. The suspect, who may have been accompanied by a female passenger, allegedly pulled a gun on two employees during the altercation before fleeing the scene.
The incident was reported along Havendale Bvld, south on 8th Street, prompting a swift response from local law enforcement. The suspect is believed to be involved in battery and assault with a deadly weapon, according authorities.
Update: As of March 04, 2025, authorities have confirmed that the suspect has been located and detained. The individual, along with any potential accomplices, is now in custody.
