The Tampa Bay Rays have announced plans for their new ballpark, referred to as the “Forever Home,” to be located on approximately 130 acres in Tampa’s Westshore District and on Hillsborough College’s Dale Mabry campus.
The proposed ballpark will have an estimated seating capacity of 31,000, making it the most intimate venue in Major League Baseball. It will feature easy ingress and egress points for seamless navigation, diverse seating options, celebration areas, and year-round event spaces to deliver an unmatched, world-class fan experience.
The site’s location in a growing and dynamic area, combined with a unique district identity, is expected to attract a wide mix of uses.
