Police Investigates Abduction and Sexual Assault of Juvenile in Temple Terrace

TEMPLE TERRACE, FL – March 3, 2026 — The Temple Terrace Police Department is actively investigating an incident involving the abduction and sexual assault of a 13-year-old female that occurred on the evening of March 2, 2026.

According to the department, officers responded to the Doral Oaks Apartment complex at approximately 6:00 p.m. following a report of the missing juvenile. The girl had been with several other juveniles at the complex when an unidentified male approached them in a grey or silver Nissan Altima.

The male offered money in exchange for the group purchasing food from Burger King. While most declined, the 13-year-old agreed. Security camera footage captured her at the Burger King location at 8755 N 56th Street.

Upon returning to the apartment complex with the food, the juvenile met the male again. She reported that he then forced her into his vehicle and fled the area. Officers searched the scene but did not locate her at that time.

At approximately 9:23 p.m., while officers remained on scene conducting the investigation, the juvenile returned home.

The victim told investigators that after being forced into the vehicle, the suspect transported her to an undisclosed location, where he sexually assaulted her before returning her near the Doral Oaks area.

The suspect was described by the juvenile as a slender white male with a blonde or sandy-colored ponytail and a reddish blonde beard. He reportedly identified himself as “Brian” or “Ryan” and claimed to be 19 years old. The vehicle was described as a gray four-door sedan.

Investigators are working to identify the suspect. The Temple Terrace Police Department encourages parents to discuss with their children the importance of avoiding interactions with unknown individuals and to report any suspicious activity immediately.
