Osceola County, Florida – Following the recent arrests of three suspects in a separate 2024 murder case, Osceola Homicide detectives are appealing to the public for information on three long-standing unsolved murders. These cases involve firearms and are believed to be connected to gang-related violence.
The unsolved homicides are as follows:
- May 14, 2018: 20-year-old Daunte Jevon Morris was shot and killed at approximately 9:00 p.m. He was a passenger in a red Nissan four-door sedan. The incident occurred near Johnson Street and Garden Street.
- May 10, 2020: 38-year-old Cornell Omar Clarke was shot inside a residence located at 2317 Old Dixie Highway at approximately 10:30 p.m.
- May 20, 2022: 26-year-old Jaqwan Thomas-Jacob Dockery was shot and killed around 8:50 p.m. near the Key West Market at 2331 Old Dixie Highway. He was found lying on the ground unresponsive.
These cases remain open, with investigators continuing to pursue leads.
