PLANT CITY, FL — On Friday, July 25, 2025, at 4:31 AM, Hillsborough County Fire Rescue (HCFR) responded to a residential fire on Frank Moore Road, Plant City, Florida, following multiple 911 calls reporting flames at a single-story home. The first HCFR unit arrived within six minutes and observed heavy fire venting through the roof. Firefighters conducted an interior attack to control the blaze and performed primary searches inside the structure. One occupant was found deceased during the search.
Crews continued operations to extinguish hot spots and secure the scene. No firefighter injuries were reported. The HCFR Fire Investigations Unit is investigating the fire’s origin and cause. Plant City Fire Rescue provided assistance.
